Delicious, honest food that appears superbly authentic. I was one of the few non-Chinese speakers to order. I watched the cooks make my noodles fresh to create my spicy stew with pork meatballs. I asked for medium spice — which was almost too much for me but still outstanding. This is an excellent place to grab a healthy lunch.
Small authentic noodle shop located in a nook of the covered market. Really sweet people there, hard-working and kind. We arrived at opening at 10:30 and were #3 in line. Only three tables outside but you can take your food to the benches in the center and have your meal. Any total over 10£ you can use your card, anything under, cash.

Not only Chinese, this place might be well known among locals which can be seen from the crowd.
There are two small tables for a quick meal on the spot. Take away is the most preferred option.
Strongly recommended for warm tasty Chinese food in Oxford.More reviews+12
The best noodle bar in Oxford. The dry hot noodles is only £6 - good portion and magically amazing! The only down side is there’s limited table. It’s better off to get it as a takeaway. To skip the queue, you can call in and place the order in advance.

Have been eating here for five years (throughout my PhD). Tasty and authentic food, friendly and helpful staff, etc etc. Highly recommend. Not many tables available (a few communal ones in the central zone of the covered market).

Really tasty and authentic Chinese noodles, buns and dumplings! Very glad to have homemade mellow soybean milk here! It’d be perfect if there’s more seating space. Highly recommended!
Great to takeaway but not much of a place to sit, I ordered a very comforting chicken noodle soup and it definitely helped cure my freshers flu. Not too salty. Great ratio of chicken to noodles to accompaniments, no complaints from me!

We got the medium spicy triple biang biang noodles. It wasn't very spicy. The noddles were very good and were hand made right when we ordered them!

Though we were travelling in UK, this store is a must go for some authentic Chinese food. The cooking space is very clean and tidy so we were assured of the hygiene of the food.
Love their Rice Noodle Soup! Very rich toppings and great flavours. Staff is also very nice. 10/10!

Excellent food! Had a biang biang mian and it tasted quite authentic. Would go there again. The seating areas are limited so it’s better to get takeaway.
Located in a quieter area of the Covered Market, this tiny place offers extremely tasty (spicy) authentic dishes. Well worth the money !

An authentic, hand made noodle bar. Biang biang men is especially recommended. Not much seating (only two small tables with stools) and it can be a little wait for the food too as it is made to order but it is worth the wait. The other dish in the photo is the lamb noodle soup.

The food is fantastic, super authentic (from 陕西 Shaanxi province in China and nearby regions) and quite different to what most Chinese takeaways serve in the UK. I've ordered about half the dishes on the menu and most have really impressed me. Good value for money too. The wait time can be too long though, which puts me off a bit. Staff are really friendly (at least to me when I speak Chinese to them). There's a few seats to sit but not much space, I've never sat in.- Service
